Tapping into continual energy
Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”
I once observed a friend of mine go through her day. She
seemed tired and demotivated and the more the days passed the more exacerbated
it seemed to get.
She was so low and out of energy both physically and emotionally.
So I asked her what was going on and she spoke of how she just had so much to
do and how her schedule of work, studies and raising a child on her own had depleted
all her energy reserves.
So I asked her if she was praying and if so, was she praying
for energy. She smiled and replied “no it’s been a while since I spoke to God”
so we took a moment and prayed, in the prayer we were very specific to pray for
energy and renewal of strength. We did this continually for some weeks and
without us even noticing her attitude and energy levels began to increase, she
had a more positive outlook on life, she became more bubbly and vibrant.
You see how we spiritually feel has an effect on how we
physically feel. When our spirit is low and we go through life carrying
emotional and mental baggage it can weigh us down physically. One of the best ways
to get rid of emotional and mental baggage is through prayer.
This was what I shared with my friend. God is interested in
you and how you live your life, He has so much stored up for us and all we need
do to received it is believe
“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits. who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Psalm 103:1-5
So when you go in into prayer give all your
burdens to God and ask Him for energy, healing, open doors, whatever you need and
by faith you will receive it.
